Taylor Rain (born August 16, 1981 in Long Beach, California) is an American former pornographic actress.

Rain first entered the pornographic video industry in November 2001. By October 2003, she estimated that she had shot between 200 and 250 scenes. She signed an exclusive two-year performing contract with Legend Video, which would allow her to cut back on the number of scenes she shot and provided her a private chauffeur so that she could arrive at her sets in a timely manner. However, Legend released her from her contract less than a month later, and she considered retirement. She took a brief hiatus from performing.

In August 2004, she signed a non-exclusive promotional contract with Astrux Entertainment.

In 2005, she made her directorial debut with the 1st Strike Films release Ass Up Face Down, in which she also starred. In the same year, she signed a contract with Defiance Films and Torrid Entertainment[9] and auctioned a day with herself onset on eBay for US $3,900.

Rain was the winner of the "Porn Star Beauty Pageant" on the Howard Stern Radio Show in March 2005, beating out fellow porn stars Kami Andrews, Railee, Renee Pornero, and Aurora Snow.

Off-screen, Rain won control over Scott Fayner's porn industry gossip blog lukeford.com, but announced in May 2006 that she would no longer fill this position.

In December 2005, Rain announced her retirement from acting in pornographic movies. When announcing her retirement from acting in December 2005, Rain also expressed her desire to settle down and start a family. Despite her retirement, Defiance Films extended her contract for two years. She launched her website, clubtaylorrain.com, after retirement. In June 2006, she announced via her website that she was pregnant, but miscarried one month later.

In February 2007, she spent twenty days in jail for possession of marijuana and for driving under the influence. Rain wrote she was given the choice to either spend twenty days in jail or to do community service and enter a DUI program, and chose the jail time. She has since stopped using and selling drugs, and now attends meetings of Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous.

Rain announced that she was pregnant again in March 2008 and that the ultrasound indicated the child would likely be a girl.

Rain appeared in very few lesbian scenes during her career and said she was not attracted to women and disliked performing with them.
