ShareMouse is a program that lets you control multiple PCs with a single mouse and keyboard. Whether you have a work PC and a laptop, or two computers side by side, there's no need to fiddle with different mice anymore. Simply move the cursor to the edge of the screen, and it jumps to the adjacent computer. It works over a local network, so no wires are required.

Let's figure out how it all works:
Install the program on all the PCs you want to connect; they must be on the same local network. ShareMouse will automatically find all the devices and connect them.
Then, simply move the mouse beyond the edge of the monitor, and the cursor will jump to the other computer's screen. The keyboard also switches automatically, allowing you to type on the computer where the cursor is currently located.
When switching between screens, the previous monitor dims slightly and a trace of where the mouse went is shown, so you don’t get lost.
Switching is smooth, there are practically no delays because everything works through a local network and not via the Internet.
The shared clipboard is especially helpful. Let's say you copy text or a file on one computer, move the mouse to another, and paste it. Ctrl+C on one machine, Ctrl+V on the other, and you're done. This is probably the fastest and easiest way to transfer files between systems.
Setup is a breeze; the program handles everything automatically. After installation, a notification appears that devices have been found. You just need to arrange the monitors in the correct order so the cursor jumps in the right direction. A laptop on the left is a desktop on the right, or vice versa. You can arrange virtual screens and everything works. Importantly, the software also works between Windows and Mac, so if you have a MacBook next to a Windows PC, this will work too.
